A Few Easter Crafts

Today we discussed the week leading up to Christ’s crucifixion.
Of course, my kids know the Easter story quite well but we went into more depth, discussing how we thought everyone would feel at the time.

We made a wreath, using some images I found online. The girls colored, cut out and glued them to a cardstock “wreath” form.

Next we drew a sunset, with the3 crosses.

In the meantime, it had started to rain. Hard. So we had to put our school work on hold so the girls could do some puddle-jumping.

In just a few minutes, our yard had flooded and provided us plenty of fun.

April showers bring May flowers?
We’re getting a pretty good start!
